You'll need to hone in on the details of the case. Look through the facts the CSI team recorded and keep an eye out for any mistakes.

Hint #1

One of the documents you need to solve the case is the Coroner's Report. 
​
  • You now know one of the two items needed to solve the objective.
  • You can combine this document with information on another item to uncover what detail the CSI team missed.

Pay attention to and focus on the facts in the coroner's report.

Hint #2

Double check the numbered facts of the report. Look for other items in the case where you can compare numbers visible on the report to other numbers in the case.

Hint #3

The CSI Team's evidence bags are marked on one side to measure length in inches.

  • You should be able to determine how long the knife's blade was from the photograph of it being put into an evidence bag.
  • Does that length of knife black contradict with other evidence on the Coroner's Report?

Sometimes CSI techs make errors when recording information. Double check the recorded length of the knife for accuracy by cross-checking it with a knife photographed in one of the CSI photos.
